'B' minus 4...

School classes, papers, and meetings are completed for the year. The only thing left is to pack up my classroom for the summer and prepare for my bike ride.

Hard to imagine the planning will come to life in a few short days.  I set up the tent to test it out.  

Last minute shopping, bike maintanence, and packing lists occupy my thoughts.  "Will I remember to pack everything?" "Is it going to rain,or be too hot?"  "How does this new smart phone work?!?"  It's enough to drive a girl crazy!

But then, I pause.  I recall how I started the day, pointed to the promise that I am "worth more than these".  That gives me both the energy and rest needed for what is to come.  Cool!  I think things just might be fine...
