Day 7 - no biking here...

This was a full day, but no biking involved. Drove to Detroit with cousin Ben & family. Took the Q-line to Comerica Park. Enjoyed some pre-game gathering, chatting with friends and family. And then sat through a looooong ball game in the hot summer sun. The Tigers did not play their best this afternoon, but they made it interesting in the 9th! Ended the evening with more family and a comfortable bed in which to rest my body and mind.
It was a good send off for tomorrow's start to the "real ride". Thanks for your prayers as I begin. As soon as I figure out this new cell phone, I'll be able to post some of the pictures I am taking with it. : { In the meantime, those of you who were with me already know what it looked like today, and those of you who know me can imagine it. The rest of you can trust me that there were many smiles, high 5s and hugs.
