Day 51 - Lazy Day

I didn't know I needed a nap... But as soon as the movie (Charlie Brown) was plugged in, I was asleep! Wrapped around that afternoon excitement, I got a short tour of "Grandpa's place", played a round of a Harry Potter trivia game (I did NOT win), took a walk "up the road", lounged by the pool, enjoyed some lunch and dinner and conversation, of course.

I'm off on the road again tomorrow. Kristi will take me a few hours down the road to Potholes State Park. The Priests will meet me there for a night of camping and maybe even a little visit to the Grant County Fairgrounds. : ) We'll enjoy a few days vacation together, traveling back to Seattle after that.

It's hard to believe that one week from tonight I will be on a plane heading back to New York. I started out in Toledo wondering, "What am I doing?!?" The days on the road became "normal" and the visits kept me sane. I've been getting a few emails from New York, reminding me there is work to be done when I return (even before, if I can find some moments to do so). But before all of that hits, I've got one more week of "normal sanity" to go.

So, need to get packing before my roommate wants to sleep.
